Experienced Leaders

Want to learn how to develop your leadership skills and style in a way that feels true and authentic to your personality?

Let me help you build on your existing strengths and lean into developing areas of your leadership practice to help you become a great leader by working one to one.

Who I work with:

Leadership Teams

If you want to see changes in your culture, start here.

Culture is set by your leaders.

If your leaders aren’t showing your people who to show up, treat each other well and get results - you have a problem and the solution needs to start with focusing on all leaders.

The truth is not all teams come together naturally and work well as a group.

Get your leadership team on the same page, pulling in the same direction.

Organisational Development

If your workplace culture needs fine tuning, you need a systems wide approach to make the shift you’re looking for.

And a 2 hour workshop isn’t enough.

Think of your organisation as one big system. Within your oganisation, there are lots of smaller systems, like teams and locations. When you make a change in one part of the system, like employee someone new, the team they join will need to adjust to accommodate the new person. But the impact doesn’t stop there. The impact can be felt beyond the team and can extend into other parts of the system because the whole of your company makes a system of interconnected parts.

So, when you want to shift culture, you need a systems wide approach.

Managers and leaders - what’s the difference?

Management is focused on resources and tasks like recruitment, change management, compliance and planning.

Leadership is focused on people and relationships. Leaders coach for growth, create psychological safety, navigate conflict and create a trusting workplace.

Great leaders rely on both leadership and management skills to effectively lead a team.

It is important to understand there are different functions in leadership and management. Being clear about these differences will help you create effective leadership and management practices so you can pull the right levers at the right time to get optimum results.

We start by identifying your goals and outcomes.

“Learning to be a better leader through this workshop has also allowed me to be a better Dad.”
Leadership workshop participant, Senior Manager (Agribusiness sector) - 2020

My consultancy services go beyond individual professional growth. I enable leaders to grow their capacity to lead by focusing on fostering interpersonal relationships primarily at work, but the impact on relationships can be seen beyond the constraints of a workplace.

Effective leaders play a critical role in creating and fostering a positive workplace culture. When leaders are skilled and understand how to create strong relationships they are better able to navigate leadership challenges and work successfully in complex environments.

I work with clients to support them to:

  • learn new skills

  • develop consistent leadership practices

  • lead with confidence and clarity

  • strengthen relationships

Leadership practices created a ripple effect that extends well beyond a leader’s immediate team.

My unique combination of training as a qualified Social Worker, balanced with decades of experience leading and managing enables me to support clients to develop both professionally and personally. This approach enables clients to experience improvements in relationships with colleagues, clients and the wider community.
